Austral Masonry NSW are moving to a new, purpose-built plant sited in Oakdale.
This new, state of the art plant has been designed to keep pace with the high demand for their unique range of building blocks and pavers.
Powering the new operations will be the latest in compressed air, energy efficient technology which has been installed in a purpose built, clean-room to cater to Austral’s immediate and future production needs.
The compressed air system utilises two stand alone, 55kW, Kaishan Permanent Magnet, 2-Stage compressor packages complete with receivers, dryers, filters and oil water separators. The system is configured to provide variable speed control of both compressors over the production process’s changeable demands. This will deliver up to 50% input energy savings over conventional systems.
Kaishan Australia handled the complete design, supply and installation of the total system including over 720 metres of 50mm aluminium piping, 62x 25mm droppers with filter regulators and gas approval isolation.
Kaishan Australia are also contracted to service the compressor system on a regular basis to ensure its peak operating efficiencies are always maintained.
